Small yet powerful!
Love Japanese knives! Been looking for a good sturdy set and this completes it! This knife is incredibly sharp and precise, making it perfect for tasks that require fine detail, like peeling and slicing small fruits or vegetables. The quality of the blade is top-notch, and it glides effortlessly through everything Iâve used it on. The handle is comfortable and well-balanced, giving me excellent control while cutting. Itâs clear that a lot of thought went into the design and craftsmanship of this knife. It’s beautiful and I’m super happy with my purchase!

Love love love
I really can’t say enough positive stuff about this knife! It’s a good weight. Works perfectly for my needs. I have small hands and the size is fine. I think it would work well for larger hands too. Super sharp. Looks great and clean. No scratches or rust spots. Well worth the money! I’m probably gonna by more in the near future!

Clean! Balanced! Wonderful weight! SHARP <3
I got a "normal" and "weird" complement for y'all.I've only cut myself ONCE in my life while cutting food, and it was with a serrated, dull asF knife 2 months or so ago. So I audibly said "That's it, I hate this F*****g knife." and bought a whole new set that only has serrations on it's steak knives, and the bread knife... and also bought this absolute beauty. (Also whet stones).Super sharp out of the box. I use it primarily to clean roast, and otherwise fine chopping/mincing. It feels great in my hand, it's balanced. I care about it so much I keep it in the original case with the protective covers for the corners and tell my partner they owe me $50 just for touching it.Okay, kinda weird, but stick with me. Although I really can't imagine cutting myself while using it on food...I was cleaning it last night (wont put it in dishwasher) after removing some edges of some aged sirlion roast - like slicing butter as always. While cleaning with a brush SUPER carelessly I nicked myself in the pinky with the tip. Surprisingly, I really appreciated, still, the sharpness of my knife. It was absolutley painless (until the isopropyl that is) and the 5-6mm deep x 1 cm long cut re-binded together in just 24 hrs with one dressing of guaze, neosporin, and thin cut athletic wrap for slight pressure XDNow, after 3 hours of drying it just looks like a 1.5 mm paper cut! Ready for the regularly scheduled copious amounts of hand sanitizer tomorrow for work, bandage free! ... and aquaphor :/Moral of the story is dull knives are more dangerous, sharp knives are less dangerous for me... but it's much nicer, on the rarer occasion that I do accidentally cut myself, to have a knife that doesnt 'maul' through my tissue, than one that does. It's much less painful, and heals much nicer. Also, it's good for the kitchen. REALLY good. This knife cuts CLEAN, straight out of the box. So be careful, and be ready to love your knife.

Gets the job done, good for small hands
Overall solid knife and I would buy again. It arrived well packaged, although the plastic protective bits that were supposed to be covering the tip and back end were loose in the package, not stuck on the blade.Heft: This is a hefty knife, NOT like a traditional Japanese Santoku, which most American cooks will probably prefer. Feels well balanced.Sharpness: Again, overall pretty good, but it does feel like there are some areas on the blade that aren’t as sharp as others, and I’ve had mixed success with tomato and mango skins. I’ve used it daily since purchase to chop vegetables every morning for my bird and it works like a charm, slices through carrots, cabbage, broccoli, peppers, and apples with ease. Raw potatoes and meat have also been easy. After two moths of daily use, the blade does not feel any more dull than when purchased. This knife is very ergonomic , easy to handle, but if you have very large hands I think the handle will be too small for you. I wear a size small in nitrile gloves for reference. Another reason this gets 4 instead of 5 stars: the metal inlays in the handle are not smooth. Nothing particularly rough, but you can feel the logo and where the rivets, logo, and tang meet the wood. The two improvements I’d like to see are smoothness of the handle where the wood meets metal, and an accurate angle to which the blade is sharpened. 15-18 degrees – which one is it?!

Perfect
This knife has such a good weight to it. Solid handle and was super sharp out of the box. I can tell I’m going to love this knife the more I use it. Also, comes at a great price.

Wonderful utility knife
I haven’t had a small knife for kitchen utility work for a long time. This has really exceeded my expectations. The weight and the grip shape of the handle make it easy to use and very comfortable. Slicing garlic in half and pulling out the sprout has never been so easy. Plus I do like how attractive the handle and blade are. It makes me feel like I’m using a quality tool in my kitchen.

Imarku Chef Knife is strong, easy to chop with and sharp blade
Food prep; needed this larger blade.

Elegant, well-made, and has met all my expectations thus far. I’ve had this knife for 3 months and I really like it.

Very sharp and got it on sale. Very good value
Frustrated –
This knife is sharp and sturdy. Well built and a steal considering the quality against more expensive knives. I just discovered the Imarku brand. Bought one of their cast iron nonstick pans and was not disappointed.

A good knife for everyone. I pull out my 350$ Japanese knife for special work but this is pretty good for daily task. Needs honing after use
